NOMINATED FOR 2011 O.C. MUSIC AWARDS
Anaheim, Calif. – acropolisRPM artists The Speaker Junkies and I&I have been
nominated for the 2011 Orange County Music Awards.
The Speaker Junkies (acropolisRECORDINGS) have been nominated for the category of
BEST ELECTRONIC ARTIST and I&I (PaperRockScissors) have been nominated for
BEST HIP HOP ARTIST.
“Whatever the outcome, we’re extremely proud of our artists for being recognized for all
their hard work,” says Daniel Park, acropolisRPM founder.
“It is nice to be nominated in a category that it has been a part of the Orange County
scene for so long and is finally getting the recognition it deserves,” says Tekno Tom of
the Speaker Junkies.
The O.C. Music Awards has been recognizing Orange County’s homegrown talent in
nearly every genre for a decade now. March 5 2011 will mark the awards show’s 10 Year
Anniversary and be held at The Grove of Anaheim. The 2011 showcase series began
January 4 with over 500 artists submitted.
